- The “Introduction to Enamels and Enamelling with Jacquie Sprogoe “course will be held on two Sundays, 30 April and 7 May from 9.30am to 4pm.
What You Will Learn
- How to prepare metals and enamels
- Enamelling techniques including Drydusting, Sgraffito, Cloisonne (wire cells and wet enamels), Stencils, Liquid Enamel (if time permits) and Texturing under enamel.
- Learn how to produce a range of copper samples and apply the techniques learned to your own work.

Description
Jacquie Sprogoe has taught enameling since the 1980’s and has exhibited her work with in Australia and Overseas for the past 30 years.
She is teaching the two day course on Sunday 30 April and Sunday 7 May. Each day starts at 9.30am and finishes at 4.30pm.
You will learn about enamels and enameling techniques and produce a series of copper samples. The techniques learned can be applied to your own work. You will start the course with a simple design exercise, which will inform the colours for your samples
You will learn about:
- Preparing Metal and enamels

- Texturing under enamel
- Cloisonne – enamelling with wire cells using wet enamel.
- Stencils
- Liquid Enamel – if time permits.
